Over twelve weeks local actor and comedian Haqi Ali went back to his old youth theatre group, Balsall Heath Youth Theatre, and produced a series of sketch shows.
The group had the chance to hone their acting skills and were ably supported by the wonderful volunteers who made it possible – from lighting to sound to costumes, photography and props! Special mentions must go to Ian, Jacqui, Nicky, Marion and Janette who really made the evening a success!
Members of the group helped with filming and audio recording, learning how to film a live performance – no mean feat in front of a large audience of friends and family! The end result was a fantastic premiere of ‘Tuesday Night Live’, attended by the budding young actors and their families where we had our very own Balsall Heath ‘Oscars’.
